CITY COUNCIL FORUM TONIGHT!!!!!

Seagulls, we know there are only about 8 of us left in this city right now because of Spring Break (we're sure they planned it that way) but please for the love of God can all 8 of us get together and show up at the City Council Forum at Bethany Lutheran Church tonight at 7:00 p.m.!!!

For those of you who don't know, Bethany Lutheran is located right near the corner of S. Division and Camden Ave. So if you live on Camden Ave. try to be there- you can walk to it!!! Have a great day( and an active, politically aware night)!!

What a waste of time this was.... The canidates told the people at the forum what they wanted to hear, and not truly what they each believed in... Well most of them did. I think that a couple were sincere, but the rest were not.

Anon 6:10 am - Most candidates that participate in forums tell people what they want to hear. That's the American way. If a persons says they love the City, then that should have been demonstrated prior to running for office.

this is true Anon 11:02. I just wish that we could communally raise the standards for our candidates...it seems like a forum should be a place where public input and questions are encouraged- yet my sources tell me that at the latest one that the audience was not given the opportunity to stand up and ask their own questions which seems counterproductive...and rude.
